Meetings with Members of Congress
We look forward to you seeing you during the AMCHP annual conference on February 11-14th 2012!

AMCHP encourages members who are able to plan on scheduling appointments to visit with your Members of Congress during the time you are in Washington DC, in accordance with your state’s rules on advocacy.  Now more than ever, Congressional leadership must hear about the importance of the Title V MCH block grant.  Time has been set aside for Hill visits on the afternoon of February 14th. However you may use any free time during the conference to visit your Member of Congress.  The Capitol and congressional offices are metro accessible and for those persons with limited mobility, AMCHP staff is available to help you with transportation.  Finally, after you scheduled your appointments please email Alma Gomez at agomez@amchp.org with your meeting details.
